Sanda Stanaćev Bajzek … author of professional conception, art exhibition and preface
Exhibit The SUM (a) Thought is represented by two authors, Trtovce’s pupils who painted their teacher’s painting as a pattern, as an imput with their own expression. Andreja Hojnik Fišić has been doing so sovereignly for years in the field of “white paint”, repeating vertices and horizontal structural strings of white cloth, where color is a sign, a secret concealed in the light spectrum. Its expression is whiteness and the structure that itself assimilates, mentions the pattern, reflects both the symbolic and literal (in the mirrors that are integral to the picture) Trtoce’s color and line.
In other authors, Meridi Kordić-Gružić, the influences are clearer, more explicit. There is no doubt in who the pattern is, who mentor and who the student is, although he has duly described his teacher in the presented opus. Repeating Trtovec’s color and building pictures with clear lines of the verticals, he also presents his own exquisite sense of color, for its arrangement, for building an image with pure painters.
Two artists, each with their testimony show two different approaches. Can you see the wood / core from this forest? They are asking for their picture of the artist and they are present at the exhibition space of the Croatian Society of Fine Artists Rijeka, in the gallery Juraj Klović
